6Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

You retain ownership of your data. We claim no intellectual property rights over the content you upload to the Service.

6.1 SMS Communications

When you provide a mobile number on a Exoserva-powered contractor's booking page and tick the SMS consent checkbox — or grant verbal consent recorded by a technician — you receive transactional service SMS (appointment confirmations, technician ETA, estimates, invoices, payment receipts) from that contractor, sent via the Exoserva platform. No marketing or promotional content is sent under the currently registered campaign.

Message frequency varies with service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance.

See the public consent reference at exoserva.com/sms-opt-in-example and our Privacy Policy for full details on how SMS data is handled.

7SMS Messaging

Exoserva operates an SMS messaging programme on behalf of contractors using the Service. The programme is registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) as a Customer Care (transactional) A2P 10DLC campaign and sends only transactional service messages: appointment confirmations, technician ETA, estimates, invoices, and payment receipts. No marketing or promotional content is sent under this campaign.

Recipients may opt in via the contractor's booking page, by verbal consent captured by staff, or via the in-app preferences page. Opt-out keywords STOP and HELP are honoured immediately per CTIA carrier rules. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Full details of the programme — including categories, message frequency, opt-in methods, opt-out keywords, vendor disclosure, and privacy commitments — are published in our SMS Messaging Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. A live demonstration of the opt-in user experience is available at /sms-opt-in-example.

8AI Features and Limitations

The Service includes AI-powered features. You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed
  • AI is a tool to assist, not replace, human judgment
  • Usage limits apply to AI features based on your tier
  • AI features may be updated or modified without notice

9Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Knock Knock Contractor LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.

11Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The federal and state courts located in Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except as provided in the arbitration clause below.

Except for claims for injunctive or equitable relief, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Travis County, Texas, in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
